Manage the preparation and accuracy of financial statements following legal
and statutory requirements, and Givaudan accounting and reporting procedures.
Support tax planning and compliance, following applicable tax laws,
regulations and commitments entered with Tax Authorities. You will report to
the Head of Finance Egypt and located in our site in 6th of October City.
You will:
Financial Accounting
Manage month-end accounting and group reporting process
Manage the accounting for accounts payable & accounts receivables
Forecast and monitoring the Cash flow
Prepare and file statutory accounts annually
Support the monthly analysis on our performance.
Verify that account reconciliations are following good practice and SWX
related Internal Control requirements, following control matrix defined by the
Group (ICON)
Maintain the compliance on intercompany transactions
Synopsis of the capex projects & capex accounting
Oversee Banking process with Group treasury
Review and validate the accuracy of financial statements
Taxes
Ensure computation of Corporate Taxes and filing of tax returns
Oversee preparation and filing of indirect tax returns and reports
Provide periodic Tax reporting to the Group, including actual and forecasted
Tax amounts
Archive financial accounting documents following legal requirements
Lead the implementation of the any new tax systems / digitalization
Liaise & lead the local transfer pricing (TP) documentation with group and tax
partners
Tax Audit and Planning
Be a contact for any tax investigation/audit and represent us
Manage corporate income tax, sales and use tax and personal property tax
audits. Provide documentation to support as-filed positions, and address
issues raised during the audit
Initiate tax planning and research to minimize the tax liability
Others
Support Givaudan Business Solution (GBS) in any troubleshooting related to
financial accounting and reporting
Work with local Indirect Material and Supply purchasing and Givaudan Business
Solution (GBS) for any troubleshooting related to the PTP process
Plan external audits
You?
Bachelor's degree with a major in Accounting
Professional accountancy qualification or an advance degree in accounting or
tax
7 years of experience in field
Preference for experience working with multinationals or any of the big 4.
