Purpose of the Job:
Cluster Tax manager is responsible for all tax affairs in specific country, ,
but it is desirable that the Manager also supports the Middle East Countries
as much as possible.
Provide reporting to HQ and request approvals when necessary

Key responsibilities:
* Provide tax advisory support to all sectors in Egypt and within the region for tenders implying multi-entity and multinational scope ensuring compliance and optimization of tax matters through tender and project execution phases
* Supervise region tax structuring activities in coordination with Corporate (improve tax planning and optimization, assist in M&A processes, relationship with external advisors)
* Provide link between countries and sectors and review when requested tax advice for international and local projects for all sectors
* Ensure review and coordination between countries & sectors of tax impact linked to changes in legislation
* Provide support & coordination when projects request creation of a new unit
* Ensure good implementation and controlling of Transfer Pricing (TP) of the Sectors
* Monitoring compliance with local TP regulations
* Check & coordinate accurate tax reporting in relation to Sector Units (Tax Proof + Cash tax)
* Monitor & review of local compliance processes (local tax return, TP files, risk mapping, liaison with the Sector involved) - follow-up of tax cash-out and monitoring to avoid unnecessary cash leakage
* Review tax clauses in contracts aiming to maximize and eliminate risks (wording ambiguity, scope not clear in tax standpoint, etc)
* Promote, evaluate tax planning opportunities, using government incentives or others alternatives available in the market;
* Co-manage (with accounting) Tax audits and due diligences
* Performance measurements:
* Mapping and anticipation of Risk
* Compliance on due time

Educational Requirements :

University degree/ Master degree in Taxation
Graduate in Law, Accounting, Administration

Experience
* Min ‎7 years of experience in tax environment in multinational companies
* Fluent in English and local language
* Experience in Infrastructure Project Companies
* Experience in Egypt and Middle East Countries is desirable
* Accounting/Finance Knowledge is desirable
