ROLE DESCRIPTION
ROLE SUMMARY
* The CEL is responsible for supervising operations of the FF, including hiring, coaching and developing Sales managers in order to reach and exceed sales targets. Plans, organizes and monitors activities/projects to maximize the business potential of the FF.
* Recognizes and responds to customer needs. Encourages cooperation and communicates with all members of cross functional teams. Accomplishment of these goals must comply with all terms and conditions of Corporate Policies and Procedures, while conducting all job-related activities with integrity and adherence to Pfizer's high standards of business conduct.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement the sales strategy and the FF business plans
* Achieve and exceed sales targets by motivating the FF and cooperating with all cross functional teams.
* Create and maintain individual development programs for direct reports (including Talents and succession planning).
* Respond accurately to all questions regarding products, policies and business-related question from customers and employees.
* Effectively coach Sales managers.
* Plan, organize and monitor activities in a timely manner to achieve objectives. Refer to Product performance follow up
* Maintain the required technical expertise including competitive and product knowledge.
* Maintain effective communications among all FF members and entire cross functional teams
* Interview and select employees for the FF using Pfizer procedures
* Develop and maintain relationships with KOLs
* Listen and respond to management directives as well as customer and direct report needs in a clear, concise and timely manner
* Work in the field with all direct reports, through coaching and counseling to improve their
Management skills and overall effectiveness.
* Make sound, logical decisions based on relevant facts
* Anticipate/respond appropriately to changing conditions and individuals within the Department in order to encourage and enhance professional working relationships
* Participate and contribute to the development and accomplishment of FF and Pfizer objectives
* Ensure compliance with all Pfizer policies and procedures including Pfizer Corporate Policy
to recruit, hire, assign, train and manager all other terms, conditions and
benefits of Employment,

* Perform other duties as assigned.
Actively participates in country revenue forecasting process and act as a key
member in operating plans cycles
Actively engage with GSC colleagues in providing the right revenues and volume
forecasts for the responsible brands to ensure adequate supply to patients and
avoid OOS and write offs
Actively and proactively proposes incentive plans in collaboration with cross
functional team to ensure the right rewards and in place for sales CE function
that balances between colleagues' motivation and compliance
Actively assign territory design to enhance FF efficiency and ensure optimal
customer coverage
Actively lead and act as a change champion for the implementation of BM3.‎3
* Study, analyze market and watch closely the competition, report findings to top management and other concerned departments.
* Prepare and submits periodic sales report showing sales volume and potential sales growth.
* Controls expenditures according to budgetary requirements.

  • Ensure having robust growth discissions in place and implementation for the team with ongoing coaching.
    Actively participates with Egypt LT and ELT to have a robust talent plans and
    succession planning across the organization

  • Ensure performance plans development &; implementation, and respect of the country guideline with Total Reward timelines.
    Ensure proactively have robust plans in place for managing low performers
    colleagues and take timely actions to improve performance in accordance with
    Pfizer policies in place
    Ensure establishing the right forums to address both strong and low
    performance colleagues

  • Proficient in written and spoken English
    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • ‎12 plus years of pharmaceutical experience

  • Minimum ‎4 years people management experience

  • Bachelor's Degree; Master's degree or MBA desired
