SUMMARY
The primary role of the Training Assistant is to establish and maintain
organized filing and e-archiving systems of all training documents. The
incumbent will also perform periodic audits at the field offices to verify
training data and follow up on payments for trainers against specific
deliverables. He or she will be required to travel extensively to the
neighboring governorates where ERAS operates.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may
be assigned by the direct supervisor.
* Maintain a highly organized filing & e-archiving systems for all documents pertinent to training events including reports, evaluations, attendance sheets, expenses, training materials, etc.
* Maintain a library of all photos relevant to project activities.
* Maintain/update a training tracker indicating trainersa€™ names, balances of the level of effort (LoE) of each instructor/trainer, etc.
* Follow up with Finance on settlement of payments for trainers.
* Carry out frequent audits on training documents at field offices
* Ensure training materials follow approved project format.
* In coordination with Field Training Supervisors, facilitate logistics for training events.
* Assist with developing a catalog for various training programs presented by the project.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No supervisory responsibilities for this position.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each
essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are
representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree (B.Sc. or B.A.) in administration
or relevant field plus a minimum of 5 years work experience in a similar
position. A working knowledge of data base applications, word processing,
spread sheet and presentation computer applications and the ability to
navigate the world wide web especially for the purpose of preparing technical
information is a must. Excellent report writing skills is required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
* Ability to communicate with and respond to common inquiries or complaints from beneficiaries and members of the business community.
* Ability to write and translate reports.
* Ability to effectively present information to top management and component members.
* Fluency in language skills required are: English and Arabic.
REASONING ABILITY
Must be adept at critical thinking and problem -solving skills. Must be able
to handle problematic situations quickly and efficiently especially in
relationship to fellow staff members.
PERSONAL QUALITIES
* Must be prompt, accessible, resourceful, self-starter, results-oriented with a positive outlook.
* Must be an excellent communicator, team-player with demonstrated interpersonal and networking skills.
