POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Program Assistant will support the Monitoring and Evaluation (M &E)
Specialist in the collection, review, and organization of data and its
supporting documentation for the HEI Public University Scholarships program,
ensuring accurate and timely data collection, document reviewing, spot
checking and reporting, thereby contributing to the overall effectiveness of
the monitoring and evaluation efforts. This entry-level position is a great
opportunity for someone who is very detail-oriented, is interested in
development work and the role of M&E in project management and wants to learn
while working with a friendly and motivated team. The position is a
combination of in person and remote work

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collects data from responsible team members and enters accurately into tracking spreadsheets


• Collects and ensures that supporting documentation for all indicators is complete and stored accurately and clearly


• Ensures that documents in student files (hard copy or soft copy) are completed


• Conducts spot checks to verify the quality and reliability of collected data for the performance indicators


• Identifies and reports any concerns with data integrity or validity


• Supports M &E specialist in data management tasks, including data cleaning, organization, and analysis


• Reviews organization of files and raises any questions


• Drafts regular M&E project reports


• Perform other tasks as requested

Qualifications and Skills

Required:
* Bachelor 's Degree in any relevant discipline such as education or business
* Proficient in using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
* Excellent English and Arabic proficiency
* Excellent attention to detail
* Strong organization skills
* Growth mindset and a learning attitude
* Passion for development work
* Egyptian citizenship

Preferred

• A minimum of ‎2 years of work experience


• Demonstrated experience with program administration or project management


• Strong writing skills


• Time management skills

• TOEIC score of ‎600 or equivalent

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The incumbent in this position will work in a professional office environment
and will utilize the following equipment when working from the corporate
office or remote home office (either on a full time, temporary, or hybrid
basis)

The HEI Public University Scholarship Program provides underserved students
from across Egypt with high quality undergraduate education in Egypt, and the
skills and knowledge to participate actively and responsibly in their
communities and contribute to the economic development of the country.
Sponsored by the U.S. Government, in partnership with the Government of Egypt,
the HEI scholarship is part of the U.S. - Egypt Higher Education Initiative.
