You will be working as Service Sales Internship and will be the part of
Electrification business area for Services division based in Cairo, Egypt. In
this role you will be reporting to Service Local Sales & Marketing Manager
and will be responsible to drive service sales process, generate service sales
leads, opportunities and secure profitable sales, focus on installed base
penetration (IB) and sell the entire service product portfolio for Low and
Medium Voltage product & system, build strong customer relationships and
ensure immediate response to specific customer needs and issues


Your responsibilities



  • Generating service sales leads and opportunities in different segment (industry, OCG, utility, and water), handling customer inquiries on RFQ and preparing service offering for upgrade, retrofit, extension and spare parts and in coordination with the service sales manager

  • Protective sales for approaching channels with build up a long relationship with customers, achieving sales target with respect to both budget and cost-effective solutions to the customers

  • Penetrating ABB Installed base and promoting the various ABB Service portfolio at Low & Medium voltage scope as upgrade, retrofit, replacement with value-added solutions to the benefit of the customer and ABB

  • Increasing installed base (IB) penetration by effectively utilizing ServIS, promoting value add service product solutions supporting Life Cycle Management (LCM), working hand-in -hand with service operation in order for ensuring target volume and profitability

  • Understanding the industry and utility channel strategy and requirements, preparing the service sales plan for different accounts to ensure the segment coverage

  • Complying with ABB sales process, healthy, safety and integrity, effectively utilizing ABB service sales tools and database

  • Ability for successfully collaborating and communicating with internal ABB Divisions for service sales colleagues for ensuring strong, positive and profitable customer relations


Your background



  • Bachelor 's Degree in Electrical Engineering

  • Fresh Graduate

  • Knowledge of electrical power system and networks

  • Ability to travel to customer meetings, corporate trainings, and tradeshows.

  • Strong results orientation, strong communication skills, customer focus, presentation skills, self-motivated and proactive

  • Fluency in English and Arabic language is mandatory
