Job Overview
KFUPM is in the process of organizational transformation that
necessitates building new teams, reorganization, business processes, and
systems of the HR function.

The Talent Acquisition leader at KFUPM will develop talent acquisition
policies, marketplace trends, talent availability, and sourcing and selection
strategies while also ensuring legal compliance and resolution of any
recruitment-related needs.
As part of the transformation team at CoHRE, the TA Leader is responsible to
develop a comprehensive Strategic Workforce Plan that ensures the alignment of
the Recruitment processes and procedures with the staff skills, knowledge,
competencies, and capabilities to meet the current and future needs of KFUPM.
The TA Lead will heavily contribute to the mission and vision of the Center
of Human Resource Excellence.


Roles & Responsibilities
The incumbent TA Lead is expected to lead the above transformation and
perform the responsibilities mentioned below:

Talent Acquisition Strategy Development
* Develop and implement the Talent Acquisition strategy for KFUPM, in collaboration with the leadership, increase brand awareness and traffic to University's employment opportunities.
* Work with the CoHRE team and leadership to develop overall Strategic Workforces plan.
* Develop proactive organization-wide talent practices with all departments to leverage social networking and innovative connections. Introduce creative networking beyond LinkedIn.
* Build integrated processes designed to attract, develop, motivate, and retain employees, with the goal of creating KFUPM as a high-performance, sustainable organization.


Responsible for Full Cycle Recruiting & Onboarding:
* Evaluate current recruiting procedures for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
* Modifying current recruiting procedures or developing new procedures as needed.
* Monitoring key recruitment metrics to identify and resolve issues affecting recruiting procedures, quality of hiring, time-to-fill, and enhanced KPIs for internal and external talent.
* Creating job descriptions based on hiring needs and regulations.
* Managing the recruitment process from start to finish, including creating job postings, screening applicants, conducting interviews, and making hiring recommendations.
* Training new hires on company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations by developing and managing a full-cycle onboarding program.
* Conducting exit interviews with departing employees to identify reasons for turnover in order to make improvements to the hiring process.
* Conducting searches for candidates who meet specific qualifications that are required for a job opening.
* Establishing relationships with universities and colleges to recruit potential employees through job fairs or other events and build the University's network of candidates.
* Monitor and report on industry trends in higher education to implement best practices for hiring team.
* Create and monitor recruiting content for external social media channels and other digital platforms that attracts and resonates with potential applicants.
* Instill knowledge and understanding within hiring managers of high predictors of behavior and ensure objective, diverse, justifiable, and forward-thinking decisions are made regarding talent selection.
* Build recruiting metrics dashboard and provide ongoing reporting on ways to improve efforts
* Provide leadership and supervision to the Talent Acquisition and Engagement Teams.
* Lead efforts on market research to identify potential applicant pools in specific industries or regions.


Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in a related field from a reputable institute.
* Related certifications are highly desirable.


Required Experience
* Proven Talent Acquisition Leader with a minimum of ‎5 years of progressive experience, preferably from a reputable higher education or public institution.
* Solid experience working strategically and operationally to build consensus around Talent Acquisition strategy and initiatives.


Skills
* Strong behavioral interviewing, and competency-based evaluation skills.
* Superb verbal & written communication skills.
* Knowledge of Employment Laws.
* Highly skilled in Recruitment Management Systems ( ATS).
* Knowledge of establishing metrics including analysis of leading and lagging indicators.
* Ability to travel frequently.
