Reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition - Electrification, the role will
deliver the Talent Acquisition strategy and operational excellence for all
business areas in Middle East, Africa region. In alignment with company
governance and wider HR strategy, you will be responsible for end-to-end
recruitment of all white-collar positions in the countries, managing a
regional Talent Acquisition team (~‎3-‎5 members), partnering with business and
HR leaders to provide expertise, solutions, and Talent Acquisition support
within the geographies. Ideal candidate located in Egypt, UAE, Saudi Arabia

Your responsibilities

• Business and Talent Acquisition Strategy: Deliver the Talent Acquisition (TA) processes to implement Global Talent Strategies in region. Working with HR Business Partners and line managers across the geographies to gain insights into the short/mid/long term business needs/priorities and current talent challenges. Provide feedback to HUB TA Leads, based on insights gained, to inform future strategy and programs.


• Fully accountable for leading TA processes for all Business Areas/Divisions in the countries, including managing KPI's and SLA's.


• People leadership: responsible for the management of the local TA teams (Talent Partners, Employer Branding Specialist and other internal & external agreed resources) to ensure effective sizing and staffing of the teams to best support business TA requirements, including understanding budget implications.


• Ensure compliance of internal processes and systems with country legislations, HR policies and compliance standards.


• Employer Branding: Support/drive Employer Branding activities, University Relations, Early Talent- and Trainee Programs etc. where required, locally and online to boost ABB's Employer Brand within countries.


• Local TA expertise: Is an active member of the global TA community, shares local insights with the business and HR leaders on the skills availability in local talent market. Recommending continuous improvement to practices, processes, and policies to advance the TA function. Contributing to the design and development of new TA solutions, both global and country/region-specific, and assisting in their implementation.


• Reporting and data management: Support timely data analytics and reporting activities to manage candidate pipeline and other recruitment metrics.


• Delivering end-to-end TA services with reduced volume.

Your background

• At least ‎5+ years of experience in TA and expertise in driving TA models, processes and tools with full lifecycle recruiting.


• Proven track record in delivering results by networking and influencing senior Business and HR leaders across a matrixed environment, with multiple stakeholders


• End-to-end TA process awareness, continuous improvement approach and experience in managing change projects


• Skilled in leading a diverse team in a global environment and capable of creating challenging new ideas and providing constructive input


• Strong English language skills, both written and verbal.
