We are seeking an BIM Coordinator with a proven background in
multidisciplinary design delivery of engineering projects to join us in the
UAE.

Your new role, what's involved?
* Coordinating the overall BIM Implementation within the IDD team and support the multidisciplinary projects delivery.
* Coordinate the overall deployment of a BIM based Delivery within the multidisciplinary Design Projects in alignment with the organization's Way of
* Working and best practices and as directed by the multidisciplinary BIM Lead - IDD.
* Support the multidisciplinary BIM Lead IDD in managing the Project supply chain to deliver high quality information, data and models to the Appointing Party and ensure that the delivery of information within the supply chain is in compliance with the contract requirements.
* Working in close collaboration with the assigned disciplinary project BIM Leads including input to Quality Assurance and Quality Control of BIM deliverables and verification of compliance to project standards.
* Assisting in the creation of BIM deliverables, Model Federation, Clash Detection Reports, BIM Quality Control Plans, BIM Design Review Procedures, Construction
* Sequencing (4D) and Cost Estimating (5D), Asset Management BIM
* Implementation (COBie), e-Specs implementation.
* Attending meetings with Client and third parties and assisting the BIM Leads - IDD in presentation and navigation throughout the BIM Models.
* Assisting and supporting in analysis/implementation of BIM Execution Plans for BIM deliverables production.
* Configuring and maintaining the project Common Data Environment to enable the effective management of engineering design deliverables.
* Assist in planning project BIM deliverables and managing their effective delivery in accordance with the project plan and BIM Execution Plan.
* Coordinating BIM issues with design teams to develop and reinforce standards with the goal of refining the models and BIM deliverables.
* Assist the BIM Leads - IDD in leading in BIM implementation, Standards, Modelling workflow & methodologies during project design lifecycle.
* Support Quality assurance at project kick-offs and compilation of BIM best practices and lessons learned.
* Integrate leading edge BIM applications including Scheduling, Cost, Asset Management, and O&M programs into the BIM models.
* Monitoring and guiding the model advancement and utilization process for future construction.
* Reporting to the BIM Lead - IDD and project and design management team in a structured manner. Minimum content to include: BIM Issue Tracker, Model Audit
* Reports, BIM for Clash Detection results for in-progress and completed conflicts resolution, Status of Model Development, models compliance reports, hand-over reports, BEP appendices preparation, etc
* Assist in the upskilling of existing CAD/BIM, Engineering & Project Management staff.
* Provide technical support and troubleshooting for escalated software functionality issues
* Support interoperability of BIM authoring and coordination tools with the Engineering discipline Design Analysis tools
* Support Automation process and highlight aspects and areas of productivity and quality optimization.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant Architecture, Engineering or equivalent disciplines with proven track record of successfully undertaken BIM responsibilities within MULTIDISCIPLINARY design delivery team with a background in modeling, coordination, data management and knowledge of best practices in BIM.
* Proven ability and leadership skills to lead, monitor and support a team of disciplinary BIM Authoring and Coordination members as well as supporting project and design management team members already in use of the BIM authoring or management solutions respectively.
* Minimum of ‎6 years broad experience in design and BIM management on large scale projects. (inclusive but not limited to BIM modeling, Coordination, collaboration, data management, Quality Assurance and Control) on large scale multi-disciplinary projects within the Middle East region.
* Mandatory proficiency on Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD Civil 3D BIM authoring tools.
* Mandatory proficiency on Autodesk Navisworks Manage.
* Mandatory proficiency on BIM360 Environment.
* Proficiency on BIMTrack platform would be considered as an added value.
* Proficiency on Dynamo or Grasshopper scripting tools and Power BI would be an added value.
* Preferred candidates should demonstrate Proficiency on Model Review solutions and good command/knowledge of ELV design analysis tools.
* Knowledge of BS ‎8536, PAS ‎1192, ISO ‎19650.
* Strong knowledge of COBie implementation/delivery and 4D to 7D deliverables to LOD ‎350.
* Proficiency on MS SharePoint and ACONEX platforms would be an added value
* Experience working within multi-national working environment would be beneficial.
* Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and solve problems.
* High level of creativity and forward thinking with analytical mindset.
* High Sense of Quality driven deliverables
