Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement effective communication activities for external stakeholders.
* Manage the organizations social media communications.
* Write, edit, distribute various types of content for the website, digital newsletters, print publications and social networking sites.
* Ensure consistency in terms of voice, branding, messaging, and frequency of posting via digital channels.
* Prepare and manage the organizations communication budget.
* Act as a spokesperson for the organization.
* Act as a liaison between the organization, the public, and the media.
Develop and maintain working relationships with multiple types of media
outlets.

Qualification Requirements:
Essential:
* Bachelor's degree in the area of Journalism, Communication, Public Relations or similar areas.
* Exceptional oral and written communications skills
Desirable:
* Strong analytical skills
* Familiarity with the best practices of main social media
* Good networking skills
* Ability to multitask and prioritize projects.
Strong attention to detail.

Experience and Skills Requirements:
Essential:
* 2+ years working in journalism/communication related field.
Desirable:
* 4+ years of media or other communications experience.

* Able to communicate information and ideas clearly and articulately both in oral and written form.
* Uses appropriate language, style and methods depending on audience and the purpose of communication.
