Summary:


The role requires developing and implementing an effective and coordinated
marketing and sales plan in support of organizational and regional/ business
unit strategies (i.e. multiple markets as applicable) and other globally or
regionally driven efforts (e.g. Traditional Trade). The role is also a
customer facing role representing the corporation with recognized customers
and/or relevant organizations, partners and suppliers within the market/s.


The role is to build and accelerates the Hershey company brands performance
across all trade channels focusing on Modern trade, General trade, Food
service and Pharmacy channel.


The role is ultimately responsible for the development and training of his
team of direct reports and key distributor personnel for markets under his or
her business unit. Succession planning is also a key responsibility area for
this role. He or she must be abreast of current trade trends, market
conditions and marketing, finance, supply chain and sales enablers through
continued education and training.


Major Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Cooperate with Marketing Regarding Deadlines / lead time required for Promotions, NPDs etc., in order to ensure effective implementation.

  • Initiate and Execute Trade Marketing Plans in line with sales and marketing purposes and manage the Trade Marketing budget.

  • Leading and applying channel marketing strategies and Instore promotion plans for top retailers that maximize revenue & profitability.

  • Category Analysis and data analytics to identify distribution gaps, channel opportunities and brand portfolio

  • Conduct post evaluation on how product/activation launches perform & sharing insights.

  • Leading activation programs with partners to improve brand visibility.

  • Visiting the points of sales frequently to guarantee brand visibility, Planogram, Pricing updates and guidelines are respected.

  • Maintain and build strong relations with our top retailers.

Building Talent Capability
Builds talent capability throughout the organization through recruitment,
performance management, workforce planning, succession planning, career
development, and diversity initiatives. Partners with the business and HR to
forecast future talent needs and develop clear objectives and processes for
Succession Planning. Supports the business and HR in identifying key
talent/hi-potentials, providing a set of integrated tools and assessment
processes to support the placement, development and calibration of key talent.
Develops policies and programs for effective management of the people
resources of the corporation.


Education/Experience:



  • MUST have an undergraduate degree. Strong preference given to candidates with MBA

  • ‎5 - ‎10 years' experience in Trade Marketing or Customer Marketing for a multinational FMCG company

  • Strong preference to candidates with direct experience managing Tamimi, Panda, Danube, Carrefour

  • Candidates must be willing to travel within KSA once a month and MENA at least 2x annually

  • Strong preference given to candidates with experience working in lean organization.
