EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

THE POSITION
Executive Assistant directly reports to the Boehringer Ingelheim Regional
General Manager/Head of Human Pharma KSA in Riyadh and will also support the
management team.
Tasks & responsibilities:
* Personal Assistant to the General Manager and ad hoc assistance to the Local Management Team.
* Adhoc project support/coordination across all departments.
* Local Crisis management.
* Support our internal and external communications strategy.
* Collaborate with local teams and the management to implement communications plans and campaigns locally
* Ensure the cascade and dissemination of information and news, developed by META Communications within the local OPU
* Feed the META Communications team with local feedback on campaigns and initiatives
* Share local business activities and stories with META Communications to ensure development of 360 Communications plan including social media, public relations and internal communications
* Support META Communications on on-ground events execution like media events, internal events, leadership visits, launches, etc.
* Being able to develop multimedia content for different internal and external channels and in the future being capable to manage internal and external digital channels
* Participate in META Communications meetings and assemblies
* Ability to manage local communication agencies with the support of META Comms team
* Ability to create local communication plan in line with the Brand plans and the management activities
* To be the focal interaction point between local functions to reflect their activities on the local communication plan
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree
* 2-3 years similar work experience in a multinational environment.
* Experience in project & event management and operational planning.
* Ability to balance an understanding of the business and employee needs.
* Flexibility and agility required to manage and support constant changes in the organization and need for continuous improvements.
* Passion for Communications with good communications and interpersonal skills.
* Planning, organizational and time management skills.
* High social skills and leadership competencies.
* Multitasking and being able to coordinate between different functions and businesses.
* Decision making. Result orientation. Creativity. Commitment. Open mindedness. Dynamic attitude.
* Excellent language skills in English and Arabic
* Excellent knowledge of MS-Office and an open mind to on-line tools in general
