The Job Opportunity
Subject to contract award, Serco Saudi Arabia (SSA) will be acting as a
managing agent that is responsible for a project that will act and serve as a
luxurious tourist destination. KSA is a key focus for Serco Middle East and

The key purpose for this role will be to manage the service operators of the
following transport modes:
Air (Private Planes & Helicopter, etc.) Sea (Marine fleet & water taxis, sea
freight etc.) Land - Road (cycle, cars, buggy, buses etc.) Land- Logistics
(vans, staff buses etc.)

Key accountabilities Recommend and administer capital improvement works
Supporting the Head of Contract Management in the Contract Management of
Service Operators for land, air and marine mobility transport modes Develop,
administer and review whole of life cycle replacement programs Represent Head
of Contracts Management and client to navigate through various audits,
inspections conducted by local bodies, insurance companies, bankers, investors
etc Establish, policies and procedures for each service under management
Develop, implement and review energy efficient replacement programs Review
transport modes service’s delivery systems and develop strategic maintenance
or replacement strategies Review whole of service delivery contracts as well
as maintain to contractual obligations Negotiate and procure new service
delivery contracts if need be Ongoing management of the Risk Management
program Support Head of Contracts Management in Timely address various ad hoc
requests given by the client for variation work, VIP visits, etc Manage the
day-to-day operations of all elements of the Contract to meet all regulatory,
business, strategic and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) Preparation of
operating budgets to support the Head of Contracts Management Meet agreed
budgets (commitments) and business planning outcomes.

What we are looking for in our candidates: Demonstrated analytical,
organisational business and negation skills. Demonstrated experience in Change
Management Proven financial management expertise, especially the ability to
control and meet budget objectives Knowledge of both international and local
(KSA) statutory and legislated requirements in governing large properties
Knowledge of international best practice in facilities management A respected
leader capable of developing close working relationships with the client to
ensure the mutual success for all stakeholders and longevity of the contract
Communication and interpersonal skills at both an individual and team level.

Specific Requirements ‎8 years plus experience of managing within a complex
project and operations management environment and preferably in the transport
industry ‎5 years minimum experience in managing multi-disciplined People
Managers including support functions (eg finance, procurement) Bachelor’s
Degree in a related Industry or accredited qualifications also preferrable
Have led a diverse, multi-cultured, multi-disciplined workforce to achieve the
work output and quality of services Experience in Multimodal Transport Modes
is preferable.
