About the Opportunity:
At Jacobs, we push the limits of what's possible to make the world smarter and
more connected. We are playing a key role on one of the most iconic giga
projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, arguably one of the largest projects
in the world.
We have an opening in Riyadh for a Contracts Manager. Working closely with the
commercial team, you will be responsible for driving contractual requirements
across this major project.
* Drafting, reviewing, recommending revisions to, and, approving all required contractual documentation
* Review contractual terms and conditions to ensure compliance with procurement requirements and conducts fee negotiations
* Drafts and revises policies and procedures as necessary
* Support wider commercial team with the performance of contracted services
* Oversee and review all contractual and commercial requirements for major infrastructure projects
* Coordinate all matters regarding contract administration, claims, disputes, contract interpretation and cost analysis
* Develop, implement and manage systems and procedures for the monitoring of external and internal contracts to ensure that contractual compliance issues are resolved both timely and effectively
* Make knowledgeable recommendations regarding contract procurement and types of underlying contracts and agreements
* Lead the continuous improvement of commercial processes through refining contract formulation activities, systems and procedures
* Identify potential claims, checking for compliance with applicable contractual terms and ensuring effective negotiation and settlement of claims
* Responsible for all financial contract management activities
Here 's What You'll Need:
* Proven experience working as a Commercial or Contracts Manager
* Strong post contract background
* Minimum of ‎15 years of experience
* Be able to reside in Riyadh
* Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering
* Minimum ‎15 years of contract/commercial experience on large scale infrastructure projects
* Experience working within a consultancy environment
* Previously worked in a client facing role
* Experienced in working throughout all phases of a project including planning, procurement, design, and construction
* Ideally be qualified and chartered by a recognized international body such as Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
