Finance Manager

Due to the tremendous growth in KSA, SNC Lavalin is looking for an experienced
Finance Manager to join one of their exciting projects in Riyadh.
Role and Responsibilities
* The Finance Manager will be responsible for the submission of Monthly Financial Report detailing the actual versus planned status of the approved Annual Budget. He will work along with the Sr. Manager Contracts and Finance and other Senior Managers of the technical delivery teams.
* Lead the liaisons with external financial, compliance and tax auditors.
* Finance Manager shall have the capability to develop Quarterly year-end forecasts and other financial reports as required from time to time by the Employer.
* His input will be crucial in the development of annual budgets of the project in sufficient time to facilitate the annual budgeting process of our government client and the Ministry of Finance.
* Perform variances analysis
* Management of sub-contractor invoices
* Auditing subcontractor invoices
* Overseeing cash flow, financial reporting, and P &L
* The finance manager will also assist in developing robust controls and helping to ensure that monthly closing and financial reporting processes all operate effectively.
* Work closely with the operations to ensure the integrity and reliability of the financial and operating results for reporting and forecasting purposes
* Lead coordinator on internal audits and assist with external audit and statutory compliance
* As part of the Energy management and conservation plan for the Total Facility Management (TFM) services,
* He will be instrumental and measure utility usage to promote energy savings through effective management and create awareness along with the other teams
* Check, Verify and validate all utility bills
* Bring the discrepancies in the SECO billing to the notice of TFM department.
* Check for unusual rise in the monthly utility bills and coordinate with SECO for explanation.
* He will be responsible to submit a reconciled and approved invoice ("Monthly Invoice") submission to the client.
* Support Sr. Manager Contract & Finance and the Project Director on ad-hoc initiatives and analysis
* Manage compliance with lосаl tax and accounting laws
* Ensure office financial obligations are paid in a timely manner.
* Managing banking relationships.
Qualification and Education Requirements
* University Degree in Finance
Preferred Skills
* Minimum ‎10 years ' experience in similar positions within a construction/engineering organization, preferably in KSA and the Middle East
* Fully Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA/CPA/CIA or other recognised Western Accounting qualification.
* Experience working on similar infrastructure projects with multiple contractors would be a plus.
* Experience dealing with payment certificates
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (knowledge of Data Modelling, PowerPivot and PowerBI tools is an advantage). Working knowledge of other Microsoft Office tools;
* High standard of (numerical) presentation skills.
* Excellent communication in English and Arabic (both written and oral).
* Working knowledge of ACCOAC, Hyperion Finance Management (HFM), Smart View and other IT systems and databases.
