Role Description:
* Core Operations functions which will include:
* Accounts Opening and maintenance
* Settlements & Fails/Breaks Managements
* Reconciliations
* Trades Processing & Confirmations
* Corporate Actions
* Develop and maintain procedures
* Products enhancement and development
* Developing effective working relationships with colleagues in other parts of the business and in other geographies.
* Working with local Operations manager to maintain relationships with external organizations i.e. local suppliers, local regulators, auditors and advisors
* Working in conjunction with the Compliance Officer to ensure ongoing compliance to regulatory reporting requirements.
The Team:
We are looking for a professional with previous experience working in a Middle
Office environment and knowledge of Equities products to join our team in
Riyadh.
This is a professional position in a back-office operations function. While
incumbents in this position are responsible for traditional activities such as
trade processing/clearance, their day-to-day actions are more focused on
administering defined procedures, analysis and report preparation, and
exception processing.
Core Skills:
Skills and Qualifications we are looking for:
* Business fluency in both Arabic and English
* Previous experience working in a Middle Office environment with good understanding of full trade life cycle
* Market related experience with knowledge of Equity products
* Experience of working with sales/trading teams
* Clear communicator both written and verbal with both internal departments and external clients / counterparties
* Ability to demonstrate problem solving skills, manage and resolve queries independently
* Strong teamwork skills
* Flexible, enthusiastic and hard-working approach
* Competent Excel skills and the ability to manipulate data
* CMA certified highly advantageous
* Due to local regulatory requirements the preference is to hire a Saudi national
