Our Client
An established multinational consulting firm have an exciting newly created
opportunity for an Accountant to join their team based in Riyadh, KSA.
Your Responsibilities
* Manage the monthly financial close and statutory accounting process in accordance with IFRS, ensuring all costs incurred are properly recorded, reviewing unusual transactions and journal entries, account balance reconciliations and report preparation
* Participate in the ongoing development/establishment of accounting policies and procedures and operational strategies including the review and implementation of process and system changes.
* Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practicesEnsure compliance with internal control policies and bring enhancement to existing practices to mitigate operational risks
* Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful and timely audit results and compliance
* Oversee GL, AP and AR processes
* Preparation of witholding tax and VAT returns
Your Qualifications
* Accounting/finance background with around 5+ years experience
* Arabic speaker is essential
* Well organised, good presentation skills (emails and calls to clients will be required)
* Familiar with Accounting software (Business Central : Microsoft Dynamics) is an advantage
