Accounting Manager

Job Description:
Financials & Reporting (Airbus Saudi & Airbus GmbH Branch)
* Responsible to prepare Financial Management reports and their timely submission.
* Efficient preparation & consolidation for the purpose of Group reporting
* Review of JV's and analysis of GL's on a regular basis
* Ensure the Airbus processes and compliance regulations are in place.
* Support Local & HO Management queries by proactively making deviation analysis of financial Statements On a monthly basis.
Coordination for Annual Audits for Saudi Ltd & GmbH Branch (IFRS & GAAP)
* Taking lead role for the coordination of Annual Financial Audit
* Preparation of various statements based on the request of KPMG Auditors
* Proactively managing Audit schedules & different Audit requirements by effective follow up with Team members & different HOD's. (E.g. Project Controller, Procurement & Supply Chain Manager).
* Effective communication & Liaison with Auditors in organising their meetings with different departments e.g. Controlling, Procurement, HR & Legal head & responsible to bridge gaps (if any).
* Responsible to finalize the Annual Income Tax Returns supported with identification of revenue, foreign and local purchases and subcontracting cost.
Supervision of Accounting Operation & Closing Activities (Saudi Ltd & GmbH
Br)
* Responsible to ensure timely & accurate monthly, quarterly & year end closing by efficiently supervising accounting operations, close coordination with controlling department in order to book all Cost Centre & Project related expenses.
* Participation in Payroll Projects, Withholding tax applications, Payable & Receivable controls & monitoring of Cash flow.
Implementation, Monitoring & Upgrading of Accounting Standards & Process)
* Effectively understanding & implementation of time-to-time changes in Financial Reporting due to the change in Organizational structure, continuously developing & improving accounting, control procedures & policies.
* Support assignments related to Tax Assessment, coordination with KPMG with regard to the tax authority requirements.
* Monitor Cash flow, Payables & Receivables, Affiliated Companies & Government utilities.
Facilitation, Support & Cross Functional & Cross Country Communication
* Monitor and verify intercompany balances, clearing strategies, inter-co reconciliation with AR accountant
* Time to time coordination team members to address any issues / betterment of the process and procedures
* Ability to manage people & create a Team, which can deliver the desired results.
* General Support activities : To be supportive in vacation-back-ups. Need to align with the requirements of the time and situation. Support the team by managing Ad-hoc requirements assigned by the HoA or CFO as and when require.
* As the business environment is evolving and so is Airbus in terms of its reginal strategy, new entities will be added to the JD and the Accounting Manager is expected to take care of its financial responsibilities/tasks.
* Improvement of controls and accounting/reporting.
Person Specifications:
* Ability, expertise and demonstrable working experience of closing the month-end financial reporting cycle
* Accounting graduate / and professional certifications ( ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW, CPA or equivalent preferred) with minimum ‎10 years' experience in financial management, monthly closing, annual audits and finalisation of financial statements
* Monthly financial reporting ( for Group consolidation and for local management )
* Experience in finalizing annual tax returns
* Experience in SAP ERP system.
