Join our Services_EMEA team within Services division in Saudi Arabia as
Workshop Manager to help us take our pump service centre to the next level.
Purpose of the job is the management, coordination and supervision of all
operational activities within the pump service centre: pumps repair,
inspection, assembling and general overhaul, rebuilding, troubleshooting.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
* Instruct, direct, motivate, supervise and monitor the performance of service engineers and field service engineers.
* Be involved and responsible for the achievement of GP metrics on all workshop and field service orders.
* Overall responsibility for all assigned project deliverables including but not limited to hardware & keep achieving on time delivery performance.
* Responsible for all matters pertaining to local and prevailing HSE requirements and to assess and maintain requirements for ISO compliance in line with Sulzer policy.
* Manage service/field engineers' workload to ensure safe & efficient utilization of resources.
* Provide technical support and resources as required to the service center using, where required, the resources of the Sulzer engineering teams (from Sulzer factories).
* Responsible for workshop and FS tools and equipment requirements. Address purchase requirements and maintain inventory as per operational needs.
* Provide technical and operational support to the project engineering team.
* Responsible for setting KPIs for service/field engineers.
* Participate and actively support company initiatives.
* Familiar with the environmental aspects and impacts of the activities and processes involved in the role and the procedures, practices and measures to manage the impact.
* Familiar with the risks and hazards within the activities and processes of the role and procedures, practices and measures in place to mitigate the risks.
* All other duties as relevant to the post.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* HNC/Equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
* Relevant experience within related industry > 10 years.
* General rotating equipment experience and specific pump experience.
* Pump workshop experience.
* Understanding of the pump repair & pump components manufacturing.
* Warranty investigation experience.
* Staff management experience.
* Dispute/conflict management experience.
* General computer skills.
