Assists and provides administrative support to the Head in managing the
overall activities of Housing Services Department.
1.Provides administrative support to Head of Housing Services on the day-to-
day operational activities. Also, organizes and coordinates activities of all
the sections, and monitors the attendance and punctuality of staff within the
Department.
2.Receives and completes projects assigned by Head, Housing Services. In
addition, coordinates with other departments to plan and implement the
approved special projects.
3.Initiates regular consultation engagements with the managers and supervisors
within the department; in-order to develop, revise, introduce, and experiment
new administrative approach to improve the overall delivery of services to
housing occupants.
4.Ensures that the functions are performed in accordance with the standard and
work ethics requirements.
5.Evaluates the Department state, obtains demographic data, develops future
plans, and sets the department objectives. Provides with the Head with
progress reports in regular bases.
6.Prepares and recommends the Department budget plans. Reviews the
expenditures on a quarterly basis, and recommends dynamic proposals in support
of the cost containment initiatives without prejudice to the quality of
services.
7.Prepares periodic reports detailing the department activities, statistical
information, and data analysis; also, assists planning, developing, and
implementing of data processing activities.
8.Develops training programs to enhance the skills of subordinates; also,
encourages subordinates to obtain further education and attend training
courses, and participates in employees' self-development at work.
9.Reviews policies and procedures, also monitors and supervises their
implementation.
10.Evaluates performance of subordinates, and counsels subordinates, as needed
to improve their performance. Recommends disciplinary actions, when necessary.
11.Follows all Hospital related policies and procedures.
12.Participates in Self and other Education, Training and Development, as
applicable.
Masters or Bachelor 's Degree in Business Administration or other related
discipline is required
Five (5) years of related Experience including two (2) years of a managerial
capacity with masters Degree or seven (7) years of similar qualifications with
Bachelor 's Degree is required.
