SENIOR HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST

Designs, undertakes and manages a range of activities related to the Human
Resource (HR) policies and planning. Monitors and evaluates the overall HR
activities including qualitative and data analysis, as well as action-
research, consults and facilitates using participatory methods and learning
methods techniques. Oversees and provides expert support for the HR
departments to ensure compliance with the Hospital's mission and objectives.


Essential Responsibilities and Duties


  • Supports, develops, implements, continuously monitors and updates the department's mission, goals and objectives as necessary.

  • Provides expert counsel, advice and expertise to HR departments and line management in all matters related to HR policy plans, procedures, succession planning, career development and information relating to Management.

  • Contributes with research and data gathering internal and external sources when needed to support HR initiatives.

  • Develops and implements the current Employee Relation Manual (ERM) to support the Hospital's strategic direction to strengthen staff selection and recruitment strategies, and training activities in line with departments ' objectives.

  • Assists in evaluating HR policies and staffing plans periodically to reflect current and future changes in the external market environment.

  • Maintains collaborative and effective relationships with other key management personnel and keeps abreast of significant economic, social and technical trends, and regulatory guidelines, which may influence assigned functions/ services and/or the Hospital.

  • Recommends technical and/or administrative advice/guidance regarding new or modification of policies to support business objectives related to best practice of HR policies and practices.

  • Identifies and understands issues, problems and opportunities from different sources to draw conclusions, using effective approaches for choosing a course of actions or developing appropriate solutions.

  • Utilizes variable internal and external data and statistics for the purpose of ensuring effective HR planning and other planning activities.

  • Develops updates and maintains HR policies to promote a supportive culture within the Hospital.

  • Attends meetings/committees related to the department as assigned.

  • Follows all Hospital related policies and procedures.

  • Participates in self and others' education, training and development, as applicable.


Education

Ph.D., Master's or Bachelor 's Degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial
Engineering, Organization Development or other related discipline is required.


Experience Required

Four (‎4) years of related HR experience with Ph.D., seven (‎7) years with
Master's, or nine (‎9) years with Bachelor 's Degree is required.

  • Saudi National Only.
