MEP Lead - KSA

The Atkins Buildings Business is seeking a highly motivated, detail oriented,
self-starter to join our design team for an MEP Lead role in Riyadh, KSA.

Responsibilities:
As a member of the Building Design team, you will be involved in real projects
from day one, with exposure to some of the most demanding projects. We
encourage vision, problem-solving, ambition, enthusiasm and drive. We

them with a varied workload and encourage them to extend themselves in order
to reach their potential.
* Provide local leadership of the Building Services team primarily based in Riyadh but also elsewhere across the Kingdom.
* Represent Atkins on a daily basis to all project stakeholders including our Clients, the Contractor & the Project Manager.
* Act as Key Account Manager for several key clients within KSA, build relationships and generate new and repeat business.
* Demonstrate an existing network of client contacts within KSA would be advantageous although not essential.
* Demonstrate experience working with offshoring production offices in India for example, or elsewhere would be advantageous although not essential.
* Experience on design and build project would be advantageous although not essential.
* Demonstrate a broad understanding of all Building services design elements and be able to coordinate closely with the other disciplines.
* Strong communication skills will be required to interact with project stakeholders, where necessary explaining and protecting our designs and providing direction to our design team.
* Commercial awareness is essential with an understanding and ability to administer Change Control.
Requirements:
* B.E / B. Tech or M.E / M. Tech Mechanical/Electrical Engineering degree from a recognized University.
* ‎20+ years ' experience in mega projects
* The ability to think laterally and possess a sound understanding of engineering principles. Ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and will be able to build and develop relationships, both internally and externally.
* Previous experience of leading multi-disciplinary design teams and responsibilities for budgets and programming
* Computer literate to understand; Word, Excel and Outlook software.
* Strong communication skills will be required to interact with project stakeholders
