The Role
We are now recruiting a Therapeutic Area Lead - Cardiovascular - Riyadh,
who will coach, lead and inspire the Therapeutic Area Partners Team in order
to achieve their performance objectives within the BMS Saudi portfolio.
Key Responsibilities and Major Duties :
Leading Therapeutic Area Partners Team across the Kingdom:
* Lead the team to achieve their objectives through proper goal setting, guidance, and motivation and coaching.
* Coach the team on ongoing basis leveraging their competencies.
* Conduct regular team meetings to ensure the team is on strategy and that performance is on track.
* Build and develop a diverse, high performing team by attracting and retaining the best talent, establish and communicate high standards, establish and implement development plans and provide performance feedback.
* Determine training needs and co-ordinate adequate product knowledge training in collaboration with medical and training department.
* Create an environment within the team where compliance is an important factor in all decisions and actions taken by the team.
* Sett proper plans and KPIs to monitor Team and business performance.
Business:
* Accountable for the provision of technical and scientific support of BMS Cardiovascular portfolio across the Kingdom.
* Maintain product, Health economics and health care environment knowledge.
* Understands and develops Patient Journey per hospital to identify access barriers and facilitate the formulary enlisting.
* Build strong working relationships with key external in order to fully understand HCPs challenges and concerns in a complex access environment.
* Participate in brand plan meetings and provide inputs and support to cross-functional teams.
* Develop and implement effective strategies and creative tactics aligned with the cross-functional team to meet business goals and product objectives.
* Support formulary enlisting process. Initiate, develop and implement tactical plans to support HCPs and patients for scaling up technical information in coordination with the cross-functional team.
* Study the market, consolidate and analyze data and prepare reports.

* Foster collaboration within the Therapeutic Area Partners team and other functions such as medical and access teams.
Compliance:
* Work to the highest levels of integrity and compliance, adhering to BMS Standards of Business Conduct and Ethics at all times and ensure full compliance with laws, and regulations
Experience and Knowledge:
* Bachelor 's Degree or equivalent in a Pharmaceutical / Medical field
* Business School degree or MBA is preferred
* ‎5+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience in Saudi Arabia Market within therapeutic field in speciality care/Cardiovascular preferred, minimum of ‎2+ years of People management experience.
* Demonstrated track-record of success in providing the technical and scientific support of a product with high integrity while focusing on execution, and SFDA requirements.
* Strong management skills to lead employees across the Kingdom.
* Ability to lead cross-functional teams and success in effectively communicating and influencing decisions with line management.
* In depth experience of managing a high performance team.
* Acumen to determine and enforce best strategies to lead the team.
* Demonstrated ability to successfully and effectively build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
* Broad and in-depth understanding of local issues relative to the pharmaceutical industry.
* Demonstrated use of communication and change management strategies/tactics to influence new ways of thinking and working.
* Effective communication and presentation skills with the ability to create energy and excitement.
* Exhibit a best in class level of disease, product and indication knowledge, including in competitor products.
* Proven history of seeking out new information and learning quickly - ability to absorb new concepts, analyze data and ask insightful questions to make effective decisions-experiments.
* Demonstrates a deep understanding of the Saudi marketplace, dynamics and trends.
* Ability to "flex" across different types of cultures, complexities, business situations and matrix partners.
* Excellent command of oral and written English and Arabic.
