General Overview:
We have been mandated by a KSA-based client who is launching a phygital
healthcare business into the market. This will include a combination of
physical clinics that offer primary and chronic disease care, combined with a
digital application. The digital application will offer telemedicine, AI-
symptom checking, online pharmacy, home diagnostics and wellness solutions.
The ultimate goal is to introduce value-based care into the market.
The client is seeking an experienced IT Director who will be responsible for
supervising and coordinating all technology operations within the
organization. The ideal candidate must be capable of overseeing Technology
operations and proficient in identifying, developing, and implementing the
technological requirements effectively and efficiently.
Responsibilities:

Oversee all technology operations and evaluate them according to established
goals.
* Develop and implement IT policies and systems to support upper management's strategies.
* Analyze the technology requirements of each department and make recommendations.
* Purchase efficient and cost-effective technological equipment and software.
* Inspect the use of technology equipment and software to ensure functionality and efficiency.
* Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and report to upper management.
* Coordinate IT managers and supervise computer scientists, technicians, and other professionals to provide guidance.
* Control budget and report on expenditure.
* Assist in building relationships with vendors and creating cost-efficient contracts.
Requirements**
* Proven experience as an IT director or similar role within Healthcare sector.
* Experience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications
* Sound understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks, etc.
* Experience in controlling information technology budget
* Excellent organizational and leadership skills
* Outstanding communication abilities
* BSc/BA in computer science, engineering, or relevant field; MSc/MA will be a plus
