JOB PURPOSE
BAE Systems is the UK Government's nominated Prime Contractor under the
Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment,
support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi
Air Force aircraft and train RSAF personnel safely in a training environment
in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
The Support Technician is responsible to the AGF Flight Commander/Advisor for
the
Efficient and effective management of resources including training of assigned
RSAF
Personnel. He is also responsible to the Advisor to the MSC for best practice
and a duty of care of BAE personnel assigned to his department.

The specific duties of the Support Technician include, but are not limited to:
* Carry Out all Support functions including Material Control, Tool Crib, Library, Aircraft None Powered Servicing Equipment (NPSE) and ‎780 Equipment Section.
* Assist the Production Superintendent requests for Support Equipment.
* Remove Unserviceable equipment for repair or calibration as required.
* Maintain all NPSE by carrying out daily inspections and repairs as required.
* Support the AGF Flying and Maintenance requirements.
* Compile reports on aircraft equipment as required by the AGF Flt Commander/Advisor.
* Act as a counterpart trainer, when required for any assigned RSAF personnel.

RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION
* Will be a graduate of a military school or Equivalent.
* Will have a minimum of five years' experience on Tornado aircraft.
* Will have a minimum of two years in-kingdom supervisory experience with BAE Systems.
* Must have a thorough knowledge of RSAF procedures, directives and manuals.
* Must be computer literate and have a sound knowledge of the Microsoft office suite.
* Must be conversant with Miro Gold procedures.
* Must have a comprehensive working knowledge of company HR and SHE policies and
Procedures.
Must possess a current driving license.
