AU is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated candidate to join its growing
team in the Information Technology Department in the level of Technician. The
successful candidate shall provide support in the daily operations of the
department & be responsible for the maintenance and repairs of all AU IT
Systems.
Job Responsibilities (includes but not limited to) :
* Provide first level support for computer software and classroom technology equipment used.
* Respond to requests for technical assistance in-person, via phone, and electronically.
* Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
* Performs typical maintenance tasks to support the daily operations of the department.
* Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on machinery and the building or grounds as required.
* Coordinate outside contractors or vendors for various services if required.

Selection Criteria, Qualifications, Experience and Attributes:
* Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
* Minimum 2 years experience in relevant field.
* Certifications such as A+, Network+, MOUS, and/or MCP are preferred but not required.
* Ability to work under pressure, unsupervised, and as a member of a team.
