Accountant
We are searching for an experienced Accountant at our MSC AD DAMMAM facility.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Verify calculations and input computer codes for a variety of documents.
Check ledgers, statements and accounts to identify errors and take any
necessary corrective action, referring more complex items to the supervisor.
Draft any routine correspondence.
Undertake routine administrative support procedures, such as assisting with
filing, opening post etc.
Maintain accurate financial records, including data input to the computer.
Provide support in the development of all necessary financial controls and in
carrying out reconciliations to ensure the production of accurate financial
records and information.
Input data into the computer and produce reports for management information
Prepare and analyze records of invoices and credit notes to assist in
financial and management accountancy.
Book Ship management AP invoices and bill back to Cyprus or Geneva
Prepare the SOA of WEC line and bill back to WEC line all the incurred charges
based on the agreed tariff
Any other tasks assigned by the direct manager.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
SOCPA Certificate.
A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role/industry is preferred.
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and
Outlook)
Excellent verbal and written English - Bilingual (Arabic/English)
Organized and able to meet deadlines
Use the right tone with clients and managers (phone/email) to represent the
company in the best manner.
Replying to emails within no more than 3 hours
Time management.
Multi-tasking
Knowledge of accounting systems
An ability to understand and use computerized spreadsheet packages
