Customer Services Specialist

We are looking for a Customer Services Specialist to join our Dammam team. To
be considered for this role, you should have ‎2 to ‎3 years of experience in sea
freight forwarding, shipping lines Sea fright or logistics and knowledge of
sea customs clearance, container handling and transportation gained either
from working in freight forwarding company or shipping lines.

Your Role

As a Customer Excellence Specialist you will organize and supervise the
transport of all orders and ensure that your customers are overall satisfied.
HSE and data quality is always at the forefront of the work you do. You act as
the customer's front-line support by providing information and answering
questions while building and maintaining a strong and trustful partnership
with customers, suppliers, colleagues, and BU. The specialist is responsible
for the profitability of orders, correct invoicing and data quality.

Your Responsibilities

• Arrange and supervise the transport of cargo


• Ensure all systems are kept up to date promptly


• Monitor the operational performance of all involved parties and report any issues that may occur


• Review and ensure that any KPIs agreed with the customer are met


• Participate in training to develop yourself and your knowledge


• Immediately report problems when they occur


• Execute the business in line with rates given by ensuring profit maximisation

Your Skills and Experiences

• ‎2 to ‎3 years of experience in sea freight forwarding, shipping lines Sea fright or logistics is "a Must have".


• Knowledge of sea customs clearance, container handling and transportation gained either from working in freight forwarding company or shipping lines.


• Fluent oral and written communicator with strong presentation skills.


• Collaborative and open personality to bring teams together to provide customer excellence.


• Excellent Customer Service skills.


• A high level of attention to detail, knowledge of special cargo, planning, time management and a desire to succeed and provide excellent service.


• Ability to work under pressure and remain calm as well as problem solving and supplier management skills are required.
