Job Purpose:
Assist Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor to carry out the day-to-day
operations of Main Distribution Center.
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Monitoring the receipt of stocks, and checking the delivery invoices and
items delivered for conformance with the purchase orders
2. Supervising the proper handling of items, and monitoring the loading and
unloading of items
3. Support Warehouse Supervisor in developing and implementing inventory
control systems and procedures
4. Support in taking physical inventory of the Warehouse
5. Track, update & follow up on inbound and outbound shipments
6. Plan & schedule customer deliveries with drivers.
7. Maintain all required documentation in the warehouse.
8. Studying stock records and recommending remedial actions for reported non-
usable, slow moving, and excess or dead stock
9. Prepare various required reports as agreed with Warehouse Supervisor and
SCM.
10. Review current processes and suggest improvements.
Administering the maintenance, housekeeping, and security of the warehouse.
Communications and Working Relationships:
1. Internal - Supply Chain team, Sales, Finance 2. External - Customers,
Custom clearing agent, Transport services providers, Heavy equipment rental
providers
Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Qualifications;
1. Graduate in logistic / Related Field from reputed University
2. 2-3 years ' experience in document control, store keeping/other
administrative work
3. Good Communication Skills and organized
4. Good Knowledge of MS Office software and ability to handle current ERP
system.
5. Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
6. Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to work
independently & as a part of a team.
