Summary
You will assist with the efficient running of the department in line with
Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting
employee, guest and owner expectations. The Team Leader - HVAC is responsible
to assist in the smooth and efficient running of the Engineering Department in
support of all other operating departments
Your responsibilities:
* Installing, maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
* Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
* Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
* Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.
* Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
* Providing technical direction and on-the-job training.
* Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
* Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act.
* Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements.
Qualifications
Holder of an official trade certificate or diploma in engineering, with
minimum of 2 years work experience as engineer in hotel or in a similar large
building/complex with central plant.
