In this role you will be responsible to assist the Director of Engineering in
ensuring the efficient and economic operation of the Engineering department of
the hotel. You will support all operating departments to ensure all services
are supplied to the hotel maintaining equipment and the building and grounds
are in good operational condition, with a focus on utilities conservation.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who is currently in a similar role or has 2
years relevant engineering experience ideally in a hotel or hospitality
related industry. Candidates should also have qualifying certifications for
their trade.
We expect the candidate to bring good problem-solving and interpersonal
skills, paired with the ability to empathetically communicate with all
customers and colleagues in the hotel.
Assemble, install, maintain, and pressure test all pipes, fittings, and
fixtures of heating, water, drainage, sprinkler, and gas systems according to
specifications and plumbing codes.
Verbal and written English language proficiency is required, with a second
language helpful.
Ideal candidate already based in the UAE.
