This position supervises Rides Engineer, Senior Rides Technician, and Rides
Technician in Rides and Attractions. Assigns Senior Rides Engineer where the
workforce is required to ensure safety, reliability, and availability of all
rides and attractions in the day-to-day park operation. Ensures availability
of tools, equipment, spare parts, and consumables in the workshops required to
maintain rides and attractions properly.
In this role, you also need to:
* Manage Rides Engineers, Rides and Attractions Senior Technicians, and Rides and Attractions Technicians daily, including work allocation, training, coaching, and performance management.
* Determine schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities based on: work priority, tools/equipment, consumables, spare parts availability, and skills/competencies of Rides Engineers, Rides and Attractions Senior Technicians, and Rides and Attractions Technicians.
* Participate in various aspects of Maintenance Department Management to support the safe and efficient operation of the park.
* Oversee preparation of work instructions that provide direction to the Rides and Attractions Maintenance for Corrective Maintenance repairs and performance of Preventive Maintenance.
* Utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System "CMMS" (Maximo) as a tool to provide necessary input to improve maintenance processes and procedures.
* Assist the Rides and Attractions Manager and Assistant Manager in day-to-day activities in the Rides and Attractions Maintenance Team.
* Encourage Colleagues to share ideas (i.e. safety. cost-reduction, productivity, etc.) to improve the work environment.
As an ideal candidate, you must have:a€‹
* Experience working as a Senior Technician or Rides Engineer
* a€‹Related technical qualification
* 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory role
* 3-5 years of experience in the maintenance field. Decision-making and problem-solving ability.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Self-motivated.
* Can work properly under pressure.
* Good English speaking/writing abilities.
* To be an expert in at least one of the following fields: Electrical or Mechanical
* Physical fitness.
* Basic to intermediate knowledge of computer software e.g. Microsoft Office and Maximo or similar CMMS software.
