Role
* Coordinate between departments and serve as a representative for Undergraduate College
* Manage all international student requirements: transportation, housing- liaising with DSOA, food allowance, assist them with applications and rules in relation to COVID 19, coordinate with HR for insurance, medical testing and emirates ID applications
* Coordinate with Finance Department for funds related to international students (transport, PCR testing, food allowance, housing)
* Manage float and stamp for department
* Engage with Students and encourage their involvement in Student Life Activities
* Coordinate with other departments and external partners for Undergraduate College or student collaborations
* Develop Work Study Program for International Students
* Identify policies which need to be modified or added, make recommendations for change, serve on committees to make it happen
* Manage Undergraduate College Student Handbook Committee, assigning members and leading the development of new Undergraduate College Student Handbook and other new materials for Undergraduate College (Virtual Orientation, etc)
* Represent Undergraduate College and lead change on access to facilities and services for co-ed students
* Represent Undergraduate College on ZU Student Handbook Committee
* Assist with development of local non-governmental partnership for partner challenges
* Serve on the EHS Committee, assist with required training for the department as needed
* Serve as a Gatekeeper and assist with setting up and running Undergraduate College Gatekeeper program
* Advising Undergraduate College on actions for and communicating with students with regards to disciplinary issues
* Act a Student Life team member and assist with organizing and planning events related to student life (partners challenge, coaching and events related)

* Experience in all aspects of student experience, including student leadership, student services, events management and student engagement along with experience in policy writing, program building and partnerships
* Designer of activities related to increasing student satisfaction, involvement and retention
* Empathy, understanding, and patience in dealing with diverse perspectives
* Expert project management skills; able to set and follow through on timelines, move a cross-functional team through a shared production process, and anticipate needs to preemptively eliminate any roadblocks to achieving the goals
* Proactive problem-solving skills with attention to detail
* Experience providing support to a student community awareness of intercultural dynamics
* Strong organizational skills, with an ability to manage multiple projects at once
* Excellent interpersonal skills with a passion for student development
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline
* At least 10 years of relevant experience within a diverse higher education set up
* Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
* Experience with supporting a diverse student community in challenges related to health, safety, and intercultural communication
