Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi, is looking for an efficient and team-oriented
Housekeeping Supervisor to join our dynamic team! Holiday Inn is the first of

What 's the job?
If you are a big-picture thinker and understand the role that technology plays
in helping the hotel achieve its overall business goals, then the IT
Manager role is the next step in your career. On a daily, you play a key
role in an organization's strategic planning, helping to identify and
anticipate future technology needs, as well as improve efficiencies with
current systems. You 'll have ambition, talent, and some essential skills.
We're seeking someone passionate about creating great guest experiences
through system efficiency.
As an IT Manager, you will work in partnership with every department to ensure
guest's needs are determined /met and oversee the overall smooth operation as
well as ensure that routine network startup and shutdown procedures are
performed.
A little taste of your day-to-day
Every day is different, but you'll mostly be:
* Focus on the rejuvenation of the room experience ensuring IT services and products will be constantly assessed to remain relevant and in keeping with the hotel's sustainability practices.
* Diagnose hardware and software problems and replace defective components and perform data backups and disaster recovery operations; maintain, administer computer networks and related computing environments including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations.
* Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware; operate master consoles to monitor the performance of computer systems and networks, and to coordinate computer network access and use.
* Design, configure, and test computer hardware, networking software and operating system software.
* Monitor network performance to determine whether adjustments need to be made, and to determine where changes will need to be made in the future.
* Recommend changes to improve systems and network configurations and determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes.
What we need from you
The successful candidate must demonstrate that they can effectively work in a
multi-tasking environment, be enthusiastic and positive, and have an excellent
guest-handling manner. The successful candidate must have the required
qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role with proven
results and includes the following:
Bachelor's degree/diploma in Computer Science, IT or related field and at
least ‎2 years' experience in a similar role with computer set-up,
troubleshooting expertise, and working knowledge of networks and operating
systems and databases. Technical skills include PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry
Data Security Standards). Also familiar with various hotel systems including
POS, PMS and CRM platforms.
You must meet the legal requirements to work in the UAE .
