Assistant Food & Beverage Reservations & Admin Manager
An Assistant Food & Beverage Reservations & Admin Manager is responsible for
achieving occupancy targets/levels as identified in the annual budget and
marketing plan for Reservations, as well as Revenue maximization and accuracy
of system information
What will I be doing?
As an Assistant Food & Beverage Reservations & Admin Manager, you are
responsible for achieving occupancy targets/levels as identified in the annual
budget and marketing plan for Reservations. The Assistant Food & Beverage
Reservations & Admin Manager is expected to contribute to the success of the
department in achieving revenue objectives and goals by actively selling the
outlets for group/corporate/individual events; meeting clients and conducting
site inspections; attend F&B events and specific networking opportunities
where appropriate. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the
following tasks to the highest standards:
* Maintains liaison between the hotel/outlet and the client or their representatives and rolls out effective communication amongst all relevant departments involved as to their specific role in the pre-planning and execution of events.
* Manage third party sites and agents to establish rates, negotiate prices, ensure proper implementation of reservations procedures, and maximise conversion ratios in order to achieve targets for the department
* Contribute to the selling strategy of the hotel, and manage the departments' adherence to achieving that strategy
* Understand the competitive market place and implement approaches to ensure the hotel stays ahead in the local market
* Ensure Team Members are developed effectively and generate a culture of high quality standards for relationship building, customer service, selling techniques, and billing and processing contracts and ensure collaboration with other departments for all ongoing promotions and events within the F&B Department
* Holds responsibility for the Sevenrooms Reservations System of the F&B Department, maintaining its client database and accuracy of system information in compliance with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and compliance with PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard); utilizing the Sevenrooms system for Sales & Marketing purposes.
* Build strong relationships with customers, Guests and Team Members in order to gain full understanding of their needs and work to serve them effectively
* Assist in the recruiting, managing, training and developing of the Team
* Participate in the organisation of hotel promotional activities

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following
capabilities and distinctions:
* Knowledge of the hotel property management systems
* Previous experience in the same or similar role
* Relevant degree, in a business discipline, from an academic institution
