the Food and Beverage Operations of Traders Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi. The
successful applicant shall expand the current portfolio, implement industry-
leading best practices and standards. S/he must motivate the team to provide
excellent and consistent guest service with a winning personality.

What we are looking for?

Self-starter with leadership to drive the team and F&B; initiatives
Enjoys interacting with guests and facilitates team cohesiveness
Creative, dynamic, and meticulous preferably with strong background in Food
and Beverage
Organized, initiates new concepts, solution driven and able to work in a fast-
paced environment
Outstanding communication skills and is easily able to establish strong
working relationships and relate well to people at all levels (colleagues,
clients, suppliers), with the ability to explain and drive concepts and
initiatives
Financial and business acumen to quantify business factor benefits,
considerations, and risks
Familiar with social media trends and communication channels as part of
customer and marketing needs
Familiar with Revenue and Yielding Management tools for Food and Beverage
outlets to maximize revenue
Lives and breathes the Shangri-La Values
Innovative and strong beverage experience is an added value

What will you do?

Take responsibility of colleagues’ motivation, various outlet operations and
performance. S/he undertakes any operational role within bars, restaurants,
IRD or events/banqueting operations as the business requires.
Improve and optimize profitability of the Food and Beverage operations and
outlet’s performance including but not limited to developing and implementing
unique Food and Beverage offers, yearly themes, events and activities.
Maintain the excellent and consistent guest service
Proactive in learning new global and local F&B; trends, skills, beverage
items, marketing ends, and bringing the ideas to the table to continually
drive creativity in our venues.
Take responsibility for the operations look and feel, including but not
limited to the overall decor and atmosphere of the outlets and venues.
Enforce local and company driven initiatives such as food safety, health,
security, fire life security measures including government legislations.
