Job Purpose
Provide direct supervision on the development and maintenance of all
Operations Department procedures that support Barakah Nuclear Power Plant
(BNPP). Execute additional activities as needed to support the start-up of
BNPP Operations organization.

Operations Procedural Support
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
* Provide direct supervision on the development, verification, and approval of Operations Procedures in the Nawah Controlled Document Management System (NCDMS). This includes assigning all Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Cross Discipline Reviews and determination of Verification and Validation.
* Maintain all required qualifications for Procedure Writer, Responsible Department Head, Station Qualified Reviewer and others necessary to perform the job of the procedure writer, when required.
* Track all Urgent Pen and Ink Changes, emergent requests and other needs of plant operations, which may cause delays to the startup, testing or outage schedules.
* Interface with Plant Operations to manage the Procedure Change Request backlog and maintain associated Key Performance Indicators within established departmental goals.
* Perform all assigned actions with regard to Corrective Action Program, Training and Scheduling activities.
* Perform monthly reviews with all direct reports regarding personal and departmental performance.

Staff Training and Qualification
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
* Monitor and provide coaching to Operations Procedures staff to improve performance.
* Critically evaluate performance of individual Operations Procedures staff to develop necessary training to enhance knowledge and skillsets.
* Verify training programs provide necessary technical knowledge and skills to ensure Operations Procedures staff are properly equipped to succeed in their positions.
* Provide training feedback on program effectiveness with evaluation of operator performance to enhance quality of training.

Outage and Emergency Response Organization (ERO) Support
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
* Support outage and/or the emergency response organization, as assigned, to ensure safe, reliable and continued operations; this may require shift work/off hours support.

* Provide input into the development of the Department's systems and processes, as well develop, and implement the Section's procedures, identifying opportunities for the continuous improvement of practices to increase productivity and operational efficiency.
* Monitor, control and report Operational and financial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to the Section, to track performance and recommend corrective or mitigating actions.
* Ensure that all relative reports are prepared timely and accurately, to meet the Section's requirements and standards.

Qualifications
QualificationMin: • Bachelor's Degree
* 6 years of relevant experience.
QualificationMax: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related science.
* 7 years of experience performing SRO level duties on-shift or in an operations support role.
* 1 year in supervisory or management positions and 6 months on-site at BNPP.
