As Pricing Analyst, you will support product pricing and strategic business
initiatives for SecurID. You will work on pricing models for new and existing
hardware and cloud/SaaS products and make recommendations on bundling,
discounting, and promotional strategies. You will work with cross-functional
teams to help strengthen pricing efficiencies, conduct qualitative and
quantitative analysis, and run revenue optimization tests. You will leverage
your analytical mindset, business savvy and problem-solving skills to
facilitate strategic business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyze rich data and provide insights and recommendations to influence strategic revenue optimization decisions
* Evaluate and evolve pricing models and inform on optimal price points and discounting levels
* Develop and drive pricing and bundling strategies for various sale and marketing channels
* Perform competitor analysis on similar products and services
* Scope out opportunities based on market trends and industry condition
* Identify ideal pricing structures and sales funnels
* Draft strategic pricing plans and processes to improve existing projects
* Create reports reflecting metrics and project status, objectives and barriers
* Communicate findings effectively to relevant departments of the company
* Work with the sales and marketing team to define pricing structure for company products
* Work with product management, product marketing and sales to understand product roadmap, feature functionality and GTM strategies to develop pricing and bundling recommendations
Qualifications:
* Experience working as a pricing analyst for SaaS/subscription businesses (industry experience a plus)
* Experience with migration from on premise hardware and software solution to SaaS solution (preferred)
* Bachelor's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Marketing, Finance, Business, or related quantitative field
* ‎5+ years of business experience working in pricing or analytical fields such as marketing analytics, data analytics or financial analysis
* Effective analytical, modeling and problem solving skills
* SQL/database skills required; Python/R skills are a plus
* Experience working with large databases and business intelligence tools to inform decisions
* High tolerance for ambiguity and an ability to work cooperatively
* Strong project management skills and the ability to multitask
* Strong knowledge about the industry including competitors and market trends
* Keen eye for identifying opportunity
* Strong analytical and research skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Effective reporting and presentation skills
* Enthusiastic and proactive team player
