Position Summary:
The Research Analyst's core responsibilities revolve around supporting
research requirements for projects and proposals led by the different business
lines and practices in the firm. Another major component of the role is
independently delivering many administrative tasks. The research analyst has a
good knowledge of all tools and sources used to conduct the job and is
expected to have/develop a basic understanding of the TMT industry.
Responsibilities:
* Independent handling of low to medium-level complexity requests for projects and proposals' support
* Timely and independent execution of admin tasks, including but not limited to: daily industry newsletter, weekly industry reports highlights, some Intranet and Delta Partners' app functions management
* Support team members in the development of products and services and in complex requests handled by senior team members
* Develop basic knowledge of TMT concepts and topics through attending trainings, self-development and asking questions
* Identify and develop relevant TMT benchmarks with the guidance of senior members
Experience and skills:
* University degree or equivalent, preferably with 1-2 years of experience in consulting or business research industry. TMT knowledge is a plus
* Familiarity with secondary research and research databases is a strong plus
* Multiple language skills will be an added advantage
Technical:
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications: Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
* Knowledge of Capital IQ, Bloomberg, Factiva, and other TMT-related databases is an added advantage
