1.Act as Functional Safety Manager for e-Drive Powertrain products
2.Analyze impact of ISO26262 releases for e-Drive Powertrain and create
Functional Safety, awareness across departments
3.Develop safety architectures and safety plans to ensure compliance with
ISO26262
4.Perform safety management activities according to relevant standards during
all project phases (concept, product development, production) including
preliminary hazard analysis, DFMEA, FMEDA, qualitative and quantitative fault
tree analysis
5.Lead and coordinate creation of functional safety documentation according
ISO26262
6.Cascade safety requirements to the systems, subsystems, and component levels
in product portfolio
7.Collaborate with project managers, development team and customers on
Functional Safety
8.Conduct reviews with product teams to ensure functional safety standards are
being met throughout product development cycles
1.Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering
2.5+ years of experience with Product Development Life Cycle (System/
Hardware/ Software in automotive domain)
3.3+ years working with functional safety-standards like ISO26262, IEC61508,
etc.
4.Knowledge of Power Train System
5.Knowledge of Motor Types
6.Knowledge of Motor Control Algorithms
7.Knowledge of Motor Power Electronics (i.e. Inverter)
8.Knowledge of Vehicle Dynamics
9.Knowledge of System Modeling Tools (i.e. Simulink/SimScape) is a Plus
10.Expert knowledge of ISO 26262 and IEC 61508
11.Proven track on development and implementation of safety concepts
12.Proven track on safety analysis methods (FTA, FMEA, FMEDA)
13.Strong mentoring and team building skills
14. Strong presentation and communication skills
15.Preferably proven track on technical leadership
