Technical Support
Purpose
The technical support engineer will be an additional staff in the operations
of Desktop support. His primary responsibility is to insure that proper
maintenance and support is being provided to our desktop/workstation users.
He will undergo training for several months until he is capable of handling a
much higher responsibilities.
Responsibilities
* Responding to user calls requesting for hardware and software assistance
* Performing wire pooling and other LAN related activities
* Updating the metrics chart; document complaints
* Assist in WAN/Voice troubleshooting
* Assist in Windows System Administration
* Ensuring that all basic IT equipments are functional
* Additional backup support for site users
* Assist in the implementation of the new modules and involve in end-user training
Education
B.S. in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information Technology
Required Skills
* With basic PC hardware/software troubleshooting and repair abilities
* Basic networking skills and troubleshooting
Required Experinence
Preferably with one year experience in any IT field (new graduates will still
be considered).
Required Languages
Must have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills (English).
Knowledge in Arabic is a plus.
