Saudi Aramco, one of the world's leading integrated energy and chemicals
companies, and international contract logistics provider DHL Supply Chain have
announced the signing of a shareholders' agreement to establish a New Company
for Procurement and Logistics Hub in Saudi Arabia to enhance supply chain
efficiency and sustainability. It would be the region's first such hub
catering to customers in the industrial, energy, chemical, and petrochemical
sectors. The joint venture aims to be operational in 2025 and provide reliable
end-to-end integrated procurement and supply chain services for companies
across the industrial, energy, chemical, and petrochemical sectors. Our focus
customers in the short term will be Saudi Aramco and its own Affiliates. And
in the long term would be all the industrial sectors within Saudi Arabia, and
the ultimate goal is to reach the MENA region.
Right now, we are seeking a dynamic person to take on the Training and
Development Supervisor role relating to DPDHL JV based in Al Khobar.
Objective:
* Develop and implement the proper training and development strategy so that employees' skills and performance meet the company 's current and future needs through effective training/education and regular, fair, and monitoring performance and training needs analysis.
* Implement approved Organization Development department's policies, processes, and procedures.
* Contribute to identifying opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes, and practices, taking into account leading practices, improving business processes, cost reduction, and productivity.
* Duties Responsibilities:
* Analyzes and identifies the training and development needs of DHL and its employees and develops training plans to meet these needs efficiently and cost-effectively.
* Designs, resources, and delivers training programs or recommends externally provided programs that meet the needs of individual employees and are consistent with the organization's overall training plan.
* Selects, develops, and manages relationships with external training suppliers in the Kingdom and internationally and negotiates financial arrangements to provide JV training.
* Manages the semi-annual and annual appraisal process and ensures that all employees have been appraised by JV policies and procedures within the allotted time frames.
* Partner with HR operations and business partners to design and implement effective analytics and metrics to influence program direction and monitor business impact and effectiveness.
* Provide mentoring and career development to colleagues to strengthen their capabilities, build functional expertise, and foster a collaborative, values-driven team culture of high standards, strong productivity, and innovation.
* Serve as the internal Subject Matter Expert regarding talent management best practices as well as current trends and innovative new tools and methods.
* Utilize HR systems and technologies to effectively manage and analyze talent profiles and trends.
* Identify training needs, plan, and execute personnel training at all levels in coordination with Operations functional/department heads.
* Develop and monitor systems to measure the effectiveness and continual improvement of
* Provide regular reports to management on the outcomes and ROI of training programs.
* Maintain detailed records of training activities.
* Ensure that the employee's appraisal system is well understood and arrange training on appraisal and assessment skills for the concerned managers.
* Ensure that employee induction and orientation training are followed at all levels for the new and existing personnel.
* Perform any other duties out of the routine but within the scope of the job.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in human resources or related field preferred.
* SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or CIPD certification preferred.
* 8 Years of relevant experience.
