LFR Operations Specialist in Kuwait. In this specific position you
will have the successful candidate is responsible to implement plans and
processes road freight shipments.

In this LFR Operations Specialist position

* You will have to arrange bookings based on customer requirements with various nominated third parties to ensure customer needs are met.
* You will have to process customer and customs documentation within a required timeframe in accordance with third party and local requirements i.e. customs, trade law, carriers.
* You will have to co-ordinate movement of cargo within required/stipulated time frames to meet customer needs.
* You will manage and monitor all parties within the supply chain
* You will have to develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and customers
* You will prepare specific customer reports whenever required and handle timely & amicable settlement of customer issues.
* You will have to support the Head of Road Freight with negotiation & maintenance of supplier rates and contracts, new/change of systems, directives.
* You will participate to build and maintain relationships Customs and transporters
* On a daily operational task, you will receive and accept transport orders from customers
* You will have to book shipment with transporter on time, register shipment on internal system on time, arrange customs clearance based on customer documentation
* You will have to do follow up PODs (proof of delivery) with transporters, arrange collection / packing of customer cargo Head of Road Freight Road Freight Specialist.
* You will be responsible to supply carrier with transport order/ instructions, send pre-alerts to customer / destination offices
* You will have to process invoice shipment based on estimate or rate agreements
* You will have to supply estimates on customer / sales request.

Now, here 's what we need from you

• Minimum ‎1 - ‎3 years working experience in Land freight industry


• Bachelor's degree or equivalent


• Excellent communicator in English, both written and oral.


• Regulation knowledge of road transport


• Microsoft Office applications


• Good communication skills - written and spoken
