Jumeirah Beach Hotel , Dubai's premier lifestyle destination, is located

About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for a Front Desk Manager, with Jumeirah Beach Hotel.
The purpose of this role is to head the day-to-day operations at the front
desk, including Duty Managers, Guest Services Executives, Rooms Controllers
and CID data entry team.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
* Primary focus on overall operation at the reception, duty management, guest services, rooms controlling, compliance.
* Ensure that guests are receiving the best possible service at the Front Desk, monitor the comfort and well-being of the guests, whereby health and safety regulations are followed.
* Record any guest complaints act and follow up with other departments the outcome.
* Discuss Night Audit discrepancies with the team and follow up on their corrections.
* Actively elicit guest feedback and preferences, regarding hotel services and ensure action is initiated on the same to maximize guest satisfaction.
* Ensure maximum room revenue through up-selling within stipulated guidelines. Therefore, optimizing the sale of room inventory, while controlling room availability in high occupancy periods.
* Ensure that all accounting and auditing practices are in line with company policies, governmental requirements. Making sure to audits registration cards, refunds, paid outs before sending them to accounts.
* Lead and coach the team towards achieving highest level of exceptional guest service and colleague satisfaction results through the application of all corporate and property standards and policies.
* Manage Front Desk during peak operation hours, checking the standards of services, and cleanliness as well as greeting and assisting in the check-in and check-out of the guests.


About you:
* The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience, skills, and qualifications:
* Minimum of ‎3 years of front office managerial experience, preferably in luxury ‎5 environment.
* Must have strong verbal and written communication skills - additional European language a plus but not essential.
* Excellent leadership, management, and team building skills
* Bachelor's Degree of Hospitality, Business, or any relevant field from an accredited and renowned University.
* Strong understanding of financial statements.
