Role Overview
The Operations Analyst will support a variety of back-office functions related
to transaction processing, reconciliation and reporting for all electronic
card processing globally, both domestic and international products. This
includes reconciling BIN/ICA and cash activity daily as well as identifying
and correcting exceptions. The Operations Analyst will help measure and
improve customer experience and SLA. The Analyst will perform a wide range of
reporting to banks, clients and card schemes. Project phase testing validation
is performed on an as -needed basis. This role supports clients in the EMEA
regions (Europe, Middle East and Africa) & India primarily and other regions
of the world as needed.
What you will do
* Perform reconciliation and portfolio monitoring for transaction processing issues and perform analysis of transaction behavior, researching anomalies and escalating to management.
* Create, execute and analyze reports for business-impacting issues, technical incidents and improvement actions. Collaborate with global Technical and Operations teams.
* Create reports as required by business partners, banks and card schemes.
* Analyze and enhance reporting and tracking databases, both in Excel and Microsoft Teams.
* Research, action or resolve items within the Chargeback lifecycle.
* Assist in creating Knowledge/Decision Trees for procedure guides.
* Analyze Card Scheme Interchange and Fee bulletins from Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Diners, Union Pay International, JCB and American Express.
* Help validate technical enhancements on various system platforms and applications.
* Create procedures, assist with both internal training and client training.
* Other duties as assigned.

What you will need to bring to planet
* Demonstrate strong attention to detail in reading comprehension and strong communication skills.
* Experience in Card Payment processing with a thorough understanding of Authorizations, Clearing, Settlement, Disputes, Interchange/Fees and Funding.
* Seasoned analytical experience; identifying root cause and implement solutions.
* Enhanced skills in Excel and reporting, including Pivot Tables, V Lookups and formulas.
* Experience collaborating with co-workers, using negotiation skills.
* Be assertive, demonstrate ability to lead
* Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills in a high-volume environment
* Experience understanding systems flows/functions and collaborating with technical teams.
* Ability to create procedures and train clients and co-workers.
* Fluent Arabic both written and oral will be a benefit.
* Written and spoken fluency in English required.
* Participation in after-hours research or an on-call rotation may be required.
