About the Role
Info Arab Media FZ-LLC is seeking a Facilities Management Supervisor to join
our existing team in the Headquarter located in Dubai, UAE. The Facilities
Management Supervisor manages the day to day working of the Technical and MEP
Facilities in a hands‐on capacity within IAM Studios & Media Buildings, liaise
with Tecom facilities and seniors for optimizing efficiency and effectiveness
of Inter-operable facility and team activity. Under limited supervision,
plans, organizes, and directs the work of maintenance of Media / studios of
Commercial Film & TV. Ability to take holistic decisions in such areas as
Plan, organize, schedule, assign, supervise, train, review, and evaluate the
work of maintenance crews involved in facilities maintenance, including
housekeeping, building repairs, preventive maintenance, plumbing, and
electrical system repairs. In addition to manage furniture, building security,
capex, opex and accuracy within facility support services.
Key Accountabilities
The selected candidate is expected to perform the following tasks:
* Proactively identifies any issues that may bear an impact on the TV Channel or on its operations. Manages workloads and call/fault queues, and co‐ordinates internal departments.
* Maintains KPI facility quality control levels on department processes, and ensure cross functional feedback is carried out with all stakeholders and team members.
* Establish and maintain facility support services in compliance with local and federal regulations.
* Serve as a manager on various Facility & Maintenance activity related to the Media as Film & TV Studios which are private properties.
* Support & Coordinate the Civil, Mechanical & Electrical engineering works as required.
* Organize prepare and maintain a work order system.
* prioritize and assign the facility crew workloads as per the client / Media team's schedule.
* Oversee the repairs & Maintenance of Studio sets, Power Generators & UPS systems of the studio as required / as part of routine woks & agreed scope.
* Maintain & Manage the Fire Alarm, Fire Fighting & Access control systems affectively
* Maintain effective working relationships with Tecom, Suppliers & Sub Contractors
* Provide technical guidance to Media crews; and resolve the serious problems.
* Prepare and maintain various reports and records as per the Scope & SLA.
* Implement and monitor worker safety programs in all aspects.
* Maintain inventories of supplies, materials, and equipment of the Media / Studios and workshops.
* Operate power tools, vehicles, and equipment as per the requirement and request of the client / Media crew.
* Respond to emergency situations & conduct periodical Mock-up drill to develop the awareness of the emergency situations to respond and follow the safety rules.
* Manages, Maintain & Support Department Objective of broadcast systems for 99.999% uptime.
* Manages and Support systems for response time to meet department goals and objectives.
* Oversee & Monitors Broadcast SNMP, Alarms, UPS, Electricals, and measure SMART Objectives of team.
