Noorka Logistics, a leading logistics company based in Dubai, is seeking a
dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Store Assistant.
As a Store Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation
of our warehouse and contribute to the overall success of our logistics
operations.
Responsibilities:
* Inventory Management:
* Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments.
* Organize and maintain inventory within the warehouse.
* Perform regular stock checks and update inventory records.
* Order Fulfillment:
* Assist in the picking, packing, and dispatching of orders.
* Ensure accuracy in order fulfillment and timely delivery.
* Quality Control:
* Conduct quality checks on incoming and outgoing products.
* Report and document any discrepancies or damages.
* Documentation:
* Maintain accurate records of all transactions, including receipts and shipments.
* Prepare and update shipping documentation as required.
* Warehouse Organization:
* Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and in compliance with safety standards.
* Monitor and report any issues related to equipment or facilities.
* Customer Service:
* Collaborate with customer service teams to address inquiries and resolve issues related to orders.
* Assist in ensuring customer satisfaction through accurate and timely order processing.
* Team Collaboration:
* Work closely with other team members to achieve overall warehouse and company objectives.
* Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues.
Requirements:
* Education:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Experience:
* Previous experience in a similar role within a logistics or warehouse environment is preferred.
* Skills:
* Strong organizational and time-management skills.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in tasks.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Basic computer skills for inventory management and record-keeping.
* Communication:
* Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
* Physical Requirements:
* Ability to lift and move heavy packages.
* Comfortable working in a warehouse setting.
