KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
* Lead the tendering process from start to finish, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all tender submissions.
* Conduct thorough market research to identify potential opportunities and gather relevant information for tender preparation.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, legal, and technical departments, to gather necessary inputs for tender submissions.
* Analyze client requirements, project specifications, and contractual terms to develop tailored and commercially viable proposals.
* Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and pricing models, considering various factors such as vessel selection, crewing, equipment, and logistics.
* Coordinate and manage the internal review process, ensuring all submissions meet quality standards and align with company objectives.
* Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to obtain clarifications, negotiate terms, and gather necessary documentation.
* Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify potential risks and opportunities.
* Maintain accurate records of all tendering activities, including documentation, correspondence, and submission timelines.
* Provide post-tender analysis and feedback to management for continuous improvement of the tendering process.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business administration, engineering, or logistics. Additional qualifications in project management or a related discipline are preferred.
Minimum Experience:
* A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in tendering and business development within the marine logistics industry, with a focus on the oil and gas and offshore renewables sectors.
* Sound knowledge of the oil and gas and offshore renewables markets, including industry regulations, trends, and project lifecycles.
* Strong understanding of commercial and contractual terms, with the ability to negotiate and mitigate risks effectively.
* Proven ability to manage and lead a team.

* Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret technical and financial data to develop accurate cost estimates and pricing models.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop persuasive tender submissions and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
* Proficient in using relevant software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, CRM and project management tools.
* Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tender submissions simultaneously and meet deadlines.
* Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
* Willingness to travel as required to attend client meetings, conferences, and industry events (at short notice at times).
