Busines s Dev e lopment:
* Lead the development of new business opportunities In focused regions
* Ensure the highest possible utilization of our assets at the given price level
* Lead regional client negotiations of large new contracts
* Define the correct pricing strategy for tenders and bids
* Coordinate the deployment of P&O Maritime Logistics assets, to ensure optimal utilization of our fleet
* Develop new opportunities in line with the commercial strategy(new markets, relationship development of potential joint venture partners, new investment projects)
* Develop new markets and segments
* Review all tenders and coordinate and monitor contract execution
Marketing:
* Develop and maintain a process of continual engagement with key clients and monitor regional client contacts to ensure optimal opportunity
* realization for the commercial division
* Maintain close relationships cross departmentally to ensure transparency in contract reporting and Information access
* Promote the reputation of the organization in all dealings with the marine community and clients
Reporting:
* Conduct monthly reporting on chartering and other commercial activities as well as market analysis
* Support market analysis and regional revenue budgets and rolling forecast
Organizational:
* Ensure a consistent business development approach across regions
* Manages team of commercial staff to ensure appropriate coordination of regional BO efforts
