JOB PURPOSE


The IT Site Leader is responsible to represent IT Function at site, deliver
service quality levels aligned with business expectation, drive operational
excellence and continuous improvement for all services related to the site
solutions in addition to cover the site IT Security officer and Integrated IT
Risk Manager role.


This encompasses but is not limited to:
* Ensuring the IT solutions implemented on a given site within his/her perimeter are properly used and deliver adequate business value. Identify and report on business value indicators;
* Share the results with site leadership team;
* Monitoring incidents/services requests and taking appropriate actions to get them fixed with the SLAs target.
* Participating to the deployment of Sanofi Core Models within Manufacturing, Shopfloor, Quality domains
* Identifying areas of improvement, defining and executing actions plans aiming to improve systems usage and performance and to deliver more business value
The IT Site Lead is also responsible to foster collaboration across the
cluster/area within his/her platform and across all IT IA platforms.


In addition, the IT Site Lead should play an active role in defining and
delivering the digital products in the site. This implies close collaboration
with the Digital Team to define the solution in compliance with Sanofi
standards


The position should have significant knowledge of the process & data; also
with good understanding of project methodologies (including agile) and ITIL
processes.
The position will also participate the budget cycle and Strat Plan/LRP for the
related site and has the responsibility to manage IT site budget in addition
to supporting the site during priorities setup.

Headcount: No internal team. May have to manage ‎1-‎2 external resources


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES


The IT Site Lead is accountable for the performance and the compliance of all
IT components deployed on his/her site : functional solutions, technical
equipment….


‎70%: Operational Excellence / Continuous Improvement
* Ensure Industrial solutions are used in an efficient manner. Define and execute actions plans together with the sites to improve usage of the solution and adherence to the processes.
* Support the site 's main daily operations in serialization and aggregation key functions.
* Enable value creation thru alignment of site business processes and IT solution. Collaborate with the other transversal teams (IA BPOs, Cluster functional team, …) to re-align business processes if and when needed
* Perform regular "health-check" together with Site teams/BPOs to identify areas of improvement, work with relevant parties (sites, BPOs, Service Lines,…) to define action plans, execute them and monitor progress.
* Monitor and report on performance indicator.
* Partner with the other IT IA Platform teams and service lines to ensure overall IT IA performance by fostering information sharing.
* Provide advice & support to improve efficiency of cross-functional practices;
* Work in close collaboration and in a proactive way with Sites, AMS, Industrial Service Leaders to ensure tickets are fixed in an acceptable timeframe. Take appropriate action whenever
* Perform Site stakeholder management by:
being the IT representative on site; taking accountability of IT service
delivered to the site; reporting IT health-check to the site leadership;
* Ensure the area/cluster management of any site changes that may have an IT impact ;
* Work closely with cluster/area leadership team on the LRP, the preparation of program rollout and/or any other activities identified in the budget;
* Report operational issues to the cluster/area as soon as they occurred ;
* Share local best practices and ensure IT methodologies / processes are in place on the site;
* Maintain the site inventory and application cartography;
* Perform procurement activities following guidelines;
* Ensure support and maintenance agreements for the local systems and tools are reviewed and renewed regularly;
* Takes necessary precautions to support the business and production continuity by ensuring proper implementation of Sanofi IT Security and Continuity (Disaster Recovery Plans) Policies and Procedures while monitoring them with KPIs;
* Ensuring business continuity on infrastructure server and network systems, working in close collaboration with IT Tech teams;
* Support end-user satisfaction by ensuring proper help desk management.
‎15%: Tracking & Execution Programs / Projects
* Review projects/activities to ensure they could be executed with resources available
* Plan/Schedule experts intervention in close collaboration with Sites Areas Managers and Cluster domain manager
* Partner with key stakeholders in the IA Platform & IT Areas to execute program / Projects;
* Interact and collaborate with other Platform/Cluster domains, IT peers and service partners across the broader IT organization to deliver project within timeline and budget and creating business value to the site
‎15%: Personal Development & Innovation + People Development
* Instill a Continuous Process Improvement mindset and ensure this mindset is anchored in day to day activities;
* Actively contribute to Simplify IT processes, policies and tools implementation and enforcement;

* Contributes to the IT IA team environment including, but not limited to participating in team meetings and proactively creating a positive work environment;
* Possess a working knowledge of IA & IT IA policies and procedures and ensure their appropriation across the organization ;
* Help with the team to leverage resources on projects identifying opportunities of leverage solutions across countries ;
* Ensure adherence to Sanofi Cyber-Security and Quality guidelines and drive remediation and security actions plans;
* Provide Audit and inspection support and coordination for IT related topics;
* Must obey Health Safety Environment (HSE) standards and work procedures in his/her activities. Authorized to detect and correct unsafe acts and situations in his/her work place and also authorized to immediately report any other potential hazardous situations.

Requirements


Minimum, Bachelor degree + Academic background: Computer Engineering, Computer
Sciences, System Analysis, Engineering or other similar areas


Professional experience and knowledge:
* Strong Knowledge regarding Business processes
* Knowledge of IT Industrial solutions
* Knowledge on infrastructure hardware, network & server (Windows and/or SQL) systems management. Hands- on experience is an advantage
* Awareness on computerized systems validation
* Have experience and/or knowledge on ERP (SAP is preferred) and other Pharma industry related applications (Lims, MES)
* Strong Service / Customer mindset
* Strong project management skills in order to lead strategic projects and meetings
* Process improvement & Innovation mindset
* Strong communication & presentation skills
* More than ‎5 years of experience in IT, management experience is a plus
